Core-field coverage counts eight basic fields available in the Atlas. It is not an accuracy score or a measure of technical specification completeness. Individual evidence checks appear below.
Evidence by field
Evidence status applies to the named field and cited sources. “Not found” means those sources do not establish the fact; it does not establish absence.
- Certification Source checked
- AirTrunk Australia, SYD2: only the named Certified Strategic facility. This does not certify other buildings or the whole parent campus.Checked 2026-09-22 · Australian Government, Department of Home Affairs ↗
- Capacity Source checked
- Operating contribution is approximately 80 MW: derived 50 MW from the first two opened phases plus the explicit 30 MW completed third phase. This is a disclosed-capacity reconstruction, not measured demand.Checked 2026-09-22 · AirTrunk ↗ · Data Center Dynamics ↗ · AirTrunk ↗
- Status Source checked
- Earlier phases are built; phase 4/ShellC was still under construction in April 2026. Apollo Place is a later phase 5.Checked 2026-09-22 · AirTrunk / Greenbox Architecture ↗ · AirTrunk ↗
Capacity & development
Power for servers, GPUs, storage & networking (IT power) · Source as of 2024-08-29
Only the third-phase 30 MW increment is evidenced here. AirTrunk confirms completion; contemporaneous DCD reporting explicitly identifies the same expansion as IT capacity. Neither source establishes that the whole 120+ MW campus was fitted out.
Power for servers, GPUs, storage & networking (IT power) · Source as of 2023-06-15
Approximately 50 MW for the first two opened phases, derived from the operator 120+ MW campus total less its 70 MW final-two-phase expansion. Both earlier phases were already open in June 2023. Contemporaneous reporting identifies the campus electrical basis as IT load. This rounded derivation is separate from the completed 30 MW phase 3 increment; phase 4 is not assumed operational.
Power basis not established · Source as of 2025-10-09
Approved adjoining Apollo Place extension. The 45 MW approval has no separately verified IT allocation; it remains outside IT subtotals. Its relationship to the operator whole-campus headline is unresolved.
Proposed or approved design capacity. Included in the planning inventory, not a dated delivery forecast or a claim of committed supply.
Excluded from capacity totals: scope or power basis is not comparable.
Historical capacity evidence
Values recorded at the time. These observations are separate from current capacity claims.
Report-date observation for one completed phase. Primary operator announcement proves delivery, trade reporting establishes IT basis for this same June 2023-start expansion. Not a whole-campus observation.
Government certification
Certified Strategic facility
AirTrunk Australia, SYD2: only the named Certified Strategic facility. This does not certify other buildings or the whole parent campus. The adjoining Apollo Place extension has no separately verified certification scope.
What certification covers →Scope and context
- Map location, when supplied, represents the city rather than a verified facility coordinate.
- Do not add Datacom's colocation service within this campus as another physical data centre.
- Technical details reported by Data Center Map are shown separately from the Atlas's primary-source observations.
- Directory reconciliation: The public publisher withholds exact location. This match uses named identity only and does not use hidden embedded coordinates or addresses.
- The accepted 30 MW is one completed phase, not total campus capacity. The operator used its 120 MW campus headline while this phase was still under construction in November 2023.
- The adjacent Apollo Place development is approved under SSD-67407231 and linked to the existing 1 Sirius Road site. No separate physical campus or certification scope is inferred.
- The current operator progress page shows ShellC under construction in April 2026, and the staging drawing identifies phase 4 under construction. The 158+ MW platform headline is not evidence that every phase is operating.
Compute, workloads & commercial commitments
SYD2 campus specification exceeds the separately evidenced phase
Current operator page gives 120+ MW for the campus. The completed third-phase increment of 30 MW is independently evidenced, but the entire 120 MW cannot be labelled commissioned from these statements.
- Whole-campus specification
- ≥ 120 MW, delivery scope unresolved Undated live operator page
- Evidence scope
- Named facility · AirTrunk
- Evidence as-of date
- Applicable date not stated
How to read this: The 30 MW delivered phase is nested inside the campus specification. Never sum 120 and 30. Full campus IT commissioning remains unresolved.
